Road-trip from Calgary, Alberta, Canada to Oregon, USA with hubby and 1.5 year old daughter! Camp along the way in our rooftop tent.

ABOUT ME

A free-spirit, bona fide lover of life, you can usually find me smiling and enjoying the simple things. I’m a grateful earthling who values health, nature, adventure, kindness, and above all else my family. Work: I am employed as a clinic assistant at a radiology clinic. Play: I love to camp, hike, bike, eat, paddleboard, laugh and love. Travelling and meeting people are my all-time faves!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

CS is handsdown one of the most incredible experiences I've ever had in my life. In 2011 I spent 3 weeks travelling in Europe and utilizing CS. I stayed with a beautiful soul named Nina for 1 week in Rome and she showed me unsurpassed levels of generosity. My heart still beams when I think about her kindness. I also met a handful of really neat people, locals and fellow travelers, who would meet me for dinners. And, I also ended up spending 4 days travelling with one of these people. CS is so awesome, so so awesome! What a way to bring people together, restore faith in humanity, and reaffirm we are all connected.
