i've only just begun, so i'm not sure yet.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed and hosted a couple of times, with very positive experiences.

simple living, traveling, music, gardening, learning about wild edibles, bicycling, building community, finding out what "building community" means, dancing, circumventing "the system" (dumpster diving, growing food, experimenting with a gift economy), and having fun doing it all.

music: any really indulgent prog rock, like dream theater and planet x, nostalgic 90s grunge, also hella, joanna newsom, old modest mouse, bjork, the smiths, tool, anything musically interesting.

books: anything that will change my life, like the autobiography of malcolm x, evasion, expect resistance, you shall know our velocity, the way we eat, bitter music, omnivore's dilemma, deep economy, etc.
