ABOUT ME

At present I'm working as a researcher at a little think-tank in Russia, studying Russian police and judiciary. Before moving to St. Petersburg I have lived in Belarus. My work probably makes me a bit sceptical, but friends know, that I could be an easy-going and funny person as well.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first couchsurfing happened in 2000 in Vilnius, my first host was a very nice couple, which expanded up to 5 persons since that time. They are still my very good friend and we always meet when I come to Vilnius. For some time I was the only host in my home city therefore many travellers ended up in my place. My guests all were great and I'm still in contact with some of them.

I have travelled a lot over the Europe, mostly for academic purposes. I like acquiting new knowledge about people, countries and world around us.
It happens to me, that I've learned to love opera theater (only theater - I don't listen to classical opera music all way around).

Yes, as more as possible. Preferably non-Hollywood movies. Live music is my favourite (any genres). I'm a book-swallower.
