About Me

I am in software development in Chicago. My family is from Argentina - I’ve mainly used this app to venture out and meet up with locals when visiting family (only can spend so much time with my grandma!). I’ve been meeting up with others since 2015, and have had up to 10 reviews at one point, but since the pandemic I’ve noticed others are deleting their accounts or going dormant. If you’ve couch surfed and done a meet up between 2015-2019 in CHI/SF/NYC/Boston/Miami there is a chance we have met :o) for safety reasons I cannot host as I live in a shared house with all girls, but would like to someday soon. I am vaccinated and work from home.

I'm into pilates, hula hooping, cooking, gardening, and anything wellness-related. I like to be active and be out in nature. Being in Chicago there’s always a lot to do - parks, different food, museums, music pavilions, other outdoor things like Lake Shore Drive bike path.

Very socially aware person, inclusion, LGBTQ-friendly, etc. I love Couchsurfing for that simple reason - meeting other people you have not crossed paths with before. Sharing how each of us live is an amazing experience. We are all uniquely beautiful and different - and also more similar than we think! 💗

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I started Couchsurfing because I went to a few conferences and would sometimes pay to extend my flight and go sightseeing. My family never vacationed much when I was a child, so any chance I have to see the world beyond my backyard - I do it! Meeting more people (locals), seeing why they're passionate about their city, and building new experiences is what drives me.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all sorts of music - anything from Tycho to Franz Liszt. I love a lot of fantasy literature (my friend got me into HP Lovecraft), history, and non-fiction that explores social issues.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hosted 20 people in town in my little apartment after a show (middle school sleepover style) and the band OK GO showed up.

Teach, Learn, Share

Love talking with others about anything really. I want to know what makes you tick! I can share a lot about technology and the world of software. I’m very knowledgeable about cooking and nutrition, and it’s cultural nuances. I also research a lot about general wellness, and test out habits that I read people do that make them feel more connected and satisfied in life.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a hard worker, polite, and very tidy. I wake up early, keep all my things together/don't take up much space, and don't mind pets or other people. I love conversation with anyone - I'm very much so a people person - and can match the communication style of others easily.
