Overview
About Me
I’m taking a break from university to travel around the world (places in South America, the Middle East, Europe, and Asia) for 7 months before I go back to school in August. I believe that we should all treat everyone with respect and love, and the world will get better the more we get to know each other!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I recently tried hitchhiking for the first time and I loved the people I met and got to really talk to! I’m hoping that couch surfing brings the same joy of sharing and connecting into my travels! Also, of course, I’m a poor college student— I’m volunteering through workaway to travel inexpensively, but hopefully I can visit more places and meet more people by couchsurfing!
Interests
I love making ceramics, singing, any activity with water involved, and saying ‘yes!’ to any activity that’s new and could be fun!
- swing dancing
- community living
- ceramics
- the sun
- haiku
- singing in the car
- hiking in the mountains
- cooking together
- a solid conversation
Music, Movies, and Books
I love any happy, upbeat music (I’m pretty sure I can dance to anything with a beat), and I love any song by Hozier, Florence and the Machine, Joni Mitchell or anyone else that can sing some beautiful tunes. As for movies and books, I’m happy with anything that really captures your attention and makes you forget that what you are seeing/reading isn’t actually happening to you in that moment! I love being immersed in a story.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing (and hardest) thing I’ve done was decide to leave home in the first place! Every cool and inspiring adventure since then has come from that one awesome decision :)
Teach, Learn, Share
Anything and everything, hopefully
