ABOUT ME

I'm an actress, painter, photographer, and writer. I love storytelling and using all creative outlets to do just that or to create a feeling, or a mood.

I was a photography major and enjoy documenting all that is around me. I am very passionate about creating and exploring all of the different mediums that help me do just that. In my work, I am often inspired by fairytales and folklore, different cultures, and nature.

Learning to be more present and soaking in all of what life has to offer is what is very important to me, and that increases with every year.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined Couchsurfing a few years ago while filming a documentary in New York City, and had the most wonderful experiences because of who Couchsurfing connected me to. I have met and befriended some really awesome people.

Interests

I have a thing for labyrinths, and am a moon enthusiast. 🌝 Also, you could say that I'm the Patron Saint of Coffee.

I love yoga!

I love history. I love old architecture, going on tours to learn about places and times. I actually used to work in a Victorian House Museum back in my hometown in Indiana! I enjoy listening to podcasts such as Stuff You Missed in History Class too. 🤓

I'm a big fan of folkore, fairytales, and urban legends. Another podcast favorite of mine: Lore.

I really enjoy baking and trying to create my own recipes. As I like to say, I don't have a sweet tooth. I have sweet teeth. All of them.

I'm a rock n roll kind of lady, and I really love blues and jazz. Some of my favorite musicians are Hozier, The Bones of JR Jones, St Vincent. Jack White.

Big Fish, Marie Antoinette, Almost Famous, That Thing You Do, Skeleton Key... And many, many more. I love Sofia Coppola and Wes Anderson's films.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm all about learning new things! I love to talk about interests with others and would love to teach or pass on anything that could be valuable to someone.

I am currently studying acting at a studio, which is what I am pursuing professionally and is something that I love more than anything. I'm also currently training in voice lessons and am looking forward to pursuing music more now.

I can show ya some Photoshop basics, as well as photography or painting/drawing. I love to go on photo adventures, exploring with camera in hand, so I am always down to do that! I almost always have my camera handy :)
