Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love meeting new people and I can't wait to make new experiences. There is no better way to get to know a city than through it's inhabitants, right?
I'll gladly show people around if I have the time and maybe I can offer a couch. If you think you fit into my world, ask!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far none. I can't wait to get started!

Music, Movies, and Books

I hate sections like that.
I do enjoy different kinds of movies, music and books.
But I'll try, so here we go...
I have an affection for David Lynch, especially Mulholland Drive, Blue Velvet, Eraserhead and Twin Peaks. Lost Highway is completely overrated. I have a thing for Blaxploitation and trashy movies, but don't get me wrong. Blaxploitation does not equal trash! Zombies are awesome and so is Star Wars. Documentaries can be, too. Have you watched "Pink Flamingo"? If not, you totally should. I can enjoy a good chick flick from time to time and right now I'm pretty much into a couple of high quality US tv-series, like probably almost everybody else.
I come from a punkrock background and I'm quite open when it comes to music.
There are too many great books to list them, but the last really great one I read was John Rechy's "City of Night".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Too many to list, but I've seen wild Orang-Utans in the jungle of Sumatra. I think that is quite amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm not sure if I'm really good in anything, but I can show you how to cook a decent vegan or vegetarian meal with local ingredients and I would love to share experience about different cultures.
