ABOUT ME

I am a laid back guy who loves the outdoors and prefers active over idle experiences. I would rather hike or bike than go to a museum any day. I thrive on placing myself in a variety of new situations and experiences, giving myself the opportunity to try as many things as possible. I am very passionate about music,art and sharing them with the world. I have been a long-term singer and drama student and recently began producing music on my computer. I studied the psychology of music in university, and am more than excited to talk about the subject with anyone. I thoroughly enjoy a cold beer on a hot day and a few more if the night calls for it. I've been known to drunkenly beatbox with traffic cones and dance on my head. Please laugh at my dad jokes, because they are all I've got.

PHILOSOPHY

A vital life is one filled with adventure so my philosophy is to always look around the bend and peak around the corner. You never know what might be hiding just out sight.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love meeting people and sharing knowledge . I'd rather sleep in the laundry room of a cool persons house who knows about their area than sleep in a five star hotel. When I move back to the States I am more than excited to return the favor.

Interests

My best experiences have been with people who have been able to go out with us and share a great night out. I haven't had the chance to do any day touring with anyone, but that would be awesome as well. It was also fascinating to learn about the couchsurfing history and philosophy from some long term participants.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I recently got to hang for 15 minutes and watch the sunset over a jungle canopy while stopped in the middle of a zip line 45 meters above the jungle floor in Laos. I then pulled myself into the treehouse where we spent the night.
