About Me
Hello!
I'm Tauri and I am traveling South America sometimes alone and sometimes with other other gypsy, nomadic faerie folk that we meet along the way.
I have been traveling for almost three years now - We have hitched hiked all the way from England by land and by sea making our way through Spain, Portugal, Canary Islands, Africa, Brazil, Peru, Ecuador, French Polynesia, Tonga and soon New Zealand! Along the way we have sailed seas hitch hiking four boats. We braved wind and wave with boat full of clowns on The Ship of Fools; set sail with a floating temple crewed by Hare Krishna's and plundered the Pacific with Peruvian Pirates. There has also been living in tree houses; working with horses learning communication based on equality and trust; finding homes in various land projects; camping under stars; mermaiding in lagoons that are too blue to be true and sustaining ourselves through creativity - mainly through poetry and pictures unfolding a poetry oracle wherever we go.
I am currently working on a blog and wish to invest more time and energy n artistic projects - I love to collaborate.
Healing is a huge part of my intention to travel so exploring plant medicine and participating in sacred ceremonies has been magical. Connecting with nature in it's purest form and living closely to the heart of this loving source is integral to me.
Before traveling, for almost two years I lived at Grow Heathrow: an eco village/ protest site against Heathrow Airport's expansion where sustainable living is the core ethos. I learnt a great deal living and working in a community of 30-40 people: from growing food to living with a process based on consensus decision making and non-hierarchy. I have particularly enjoyed communal, vegan cooking using food that is all skipped - waste food found at markets or supermarket bins. I have become increasingly interested in eating raw vegan food and exploring the benefits. Learning to live purely from recycled produce whether it be food or building materials has been fascinating. Being creativity and sharing it with others is such an important part of my life.
Being a vegan is essential to me and I am learning to integrate mediation and yoga into my life on a daily basis. I love the sea, long walks and trees. I read a lot and love to learn. My interests wax and wane from the celestial to the terrestrial understanding the connection and how to work with these energies whether it be with the plants or in plantology: learning the medicinal benefits from flowers to weeds to trees! Dreams are also at the heart of my daily routine. I spent seven years learning to understand their messages in a therapeutic form comprehending their way of taking us back into our past giving us an opportunity to clear unresolved issues, their ability to clear and clean our unconscious chaos, but also to help us understand the lessons of our present and guide us into our future providing prophetic visions.
