ABOUT ME

I am a man who loves to explore. I have a strong urge to see what's on the other side of that hill, or what's around that corner. Or what that person thinks about her life. I am very laid back and love nothing better then to get into a long, deep discussion about any topic under the sun. I am a great listener because I really want to hear your opinion and consider it for myself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I let people stay on my couch whenever they need or whenever I`m home. I`ve organized a Mt. Fuji climb and a few local neighborhood events.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I`ve hosted lots of people and it was a fantastic experience! When you trust people and let them in to your home they generally don't abuse that trust.

Interests

Movies, books, and deep conversations are the things that interest me the most. I also like `people-watching`. Don`t be scared, haha. It just means I enjoy seeing people go about their daily business. It`s fascinating and it gives the chance to see from the outside what we are all like.

Music, Movies, and Books

Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, Ishmael, Jonathan Livingstone Seagull, THE RAZOR'S EDGE, the Alchemist, the Celestine Prophesy, and anything else I can get my hands on that has some depth to it. I like all movies (yes it's true, I even liked "Junior" with Arnold Swartzenegger lol) As for music to name a few - U2, James Taylor, Fleetwood Mac, the Flight of the Conchords: In short, anything that entertains me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Many things I have done have amazed me at the time, but I would have to say Parachuting takes the prize as number one. Throwing yourself out of a plane is surprisingly the most fun I've ever had in my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

No matter how much you know about something you never know it all. I find that you can enrich the quality of your life by having the child-like ability to see and accept the new in everything, even what we already know. Everyone wants to be a child again because they remember childhood as a 'happy time' in their life, but children are only happy because they find the wonder in so many things. The have an appreciation for what's new.
