COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have slept on many floors and couches, on tour or just when travelling but haven't used CS much yet. It seems to be a great, community building tool

Interests

I am interested in most things. Right now I'm reading a lot about linguistics and trying to understand elementary physics, although I'm not very good at math.

As far as activities go, I like to read, go to shows, go swimming, drink beer, climb things, travel, cook food and generally educate myself about any and all aspects of the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

I recently read a book called "A single man" by Cristopher Isherwood. It was probably one of the best written novels (in english) that I've ever read. Other favourite authors include: Noam Chomsky, Susan Faludi, Carson McCullers, Robert Fisk and George Orwell, etc etc etc...

I like most kinds of music, as long as it's honest. Two Gallants, Dirty Fist, Woody Guthrie, Marcel Khalife, Screaming Females, Nina Simone, Wu-Tang Clan, Andrew Jackson Jihad, The Magnetic Fields, Tragedy.. etc etc etc

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When we came to the sleeping place after our show in Skopje, our host asked us if we wanted some bread and cheese. Sure, we said. He produced a giant, metallic crate and forced it open with a screwdriver. Inside was home made cheese from a small village up in the mountains. Served with home made ajvar it was an unforgettable culinary feast unlike any other I've previously experienced. We stayed up until 4 AM eating, slept for two hours and then drove all the way to Zagreb. Good times!
