About Me

CURRENT MISSION

travel and learn about other cultures

ABOUT ME

I was looking for a way to put off medical school for a year and au pair seemed like a great option for me. I'm currently in Munich and because I live with a host family, I can't lend you my couch for the time being. sorry :(

PHILOSOPHY

Try everything once! (well, unless it's life threatening). Life is not about finding comfort, but about finding happiness. It takes being uncomfortable and sometimes a bit of pain to find and appreciate happiness.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'd like to meet new people around Munich and in the places I travel to during this next year.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've rafted through the grand canyon for ten days. Hands down one of the best experiences ever. One of my favorite (and silliest part) about the trip was the restroom setup at each stop. Each WC would be far removed from the campsite and as you sat there, looking out into canyon and on the Colorado river, it felt as though you were the first and only person seeing this amazing wonder.

I backpacked in Spain and France for a month when I was seventeen. Maybe this is nothing to other people, but for me, a girl from south Louisiana, going out on my own in foreign countries without really speaking the language was a huge building block and instilled a passion for seeing new places, people, and cultures.

Countries I’ve Visited

France, Honduras, Spain, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Germany, United States
