ABOUT ME

Im a simple person with simple pleasures and a Hakuna Matata lifestyle. When I visit the zoo, the sloths get jealous at how easy going I am. I treasure a joke and a laugh above all else.
At the same time, when I kick it into adventure mode, I mean it! I just did Halloween in The French Quarter of New Orleans and that was probably the coolest party I've ever been to. DEFINITELY making that trip a tradition!

life is about love. love is happiness and everyone searches for happiness. the way to happiness is through positivity and compassion. focus mainly on positivity and compassion and you will inevitably be happy!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For the most part in social situations I have a hard time letting things get too serious. If we're not laughing, we're not doing it right. I'm a big fan of breaking the tension in aggressive situations by shouting out very awkward embarrassing things about myself.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couch surfing experience? I love couches! I sleep on my own half the time!
Im very familiar with hosting people. for years my roommate and I have had countless guests, whether it be friends, family, or traveling hippies sleeping on our couches and floors.
Through all the guests we've had, I'm fairly certain we've learned how to be excellent guests ourselves by figuring out what we expect out of the people we've hosted! Nothing like a bad house guest to show you how to be a good one!

since I've joined this site I've had the privilege of sharing lunch with some very interesting men from India, crashed a couch in west Philly, and rode from philly to NYC with a really cool guy from Poland.
The esoteric communion I've managed to get from using this site is exactly what I'm looking for in life, so I can't wait to see where else this goes.

I'm interested in EVERYTHING! except gardening.

I'm very passionate about music. I'm an avid poker player. I love history, but not quite as much as I love the cold side of the pillow.

im a huge fan of Nine Inch Nails. for the most part i have a very eclectic taste. i love Gogol Bordello, Pretty Lights, Girl Talk, Eoto, Bassnectar, I really love intelligent hip hop like Atmosphere, Sage Francis, Flobots, Immortal Technique, and Aesop Rock

as far as books go I'm fairly A.D.D. so I only read books that enthrall me the entire time. I love the harry potter books and am also a big fan of Piers Anthony's Xanth Series

movies, don't even get me started. just to name a few real good ones, Green Street Hooligans, Everything is Illuminated, Filth and Wisdom, The Count of Monte Cristo, Goodfellas, Titanic, The 13th Warrior, I got hundreds of favorites.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I watched my single mother give up everything in her life to make sure her 3 children always had a roof over their heads and presents under the christmas tree. a herculean task to say the least, and definitely amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach anyone how to say I don't speak said language, in 10 different languages, I can teach the finer points on how to win and lose playing poker. I can teach how to whistle real loud. I can teach you how to scratch a record. I can take apart the remote control and I can almost put it back together. I can tie a knot in a cherry stem. I can tell you about Lief Ericksson.

I'd love to learn anything I can

and I can share my starbursts, if I have any, but thats not a very good chance, because when I have starbursts, I tend to try to fit them all in my mouth at the same time.
