ABOUT ME

I enjoy meeting new people especially travelers because they often bring a new perspective. The old dogs show me new tricks so meeting locals is great, too!

I just returned from an 8,800 mile, solo motorcycle trip to the Arctic and back. I met so many wonderful people along the way. I had lunches and dinners with some, shared a few beers with others, chatted for hours at a picnic table, and even got a ride with some semi-truck drivers who were building a new runway. Even though I saw incredible natural beauty along the way and rode my 250cc motorcycle to my heart's content, meeting folks and sharing stories tops my list. One of the people I met told me about this site!

PHILOSOPHY

People within big cities need a better sense of community and be more welcoming to new people. This may just be the ticket so that I can do my part.
