Some smart guy once said: "travelling is not about the places you go, but the people you meet". Couchsurfing account makes good oportunity to meet a lot of awesome people during journeys and make you learn more about their culture, from the basics.

The second reason: I am a student and I don't earn much money, but still need to sleep sometimes. Couchsurfing seems to be a nice way of finding a roof over the head and spend some nice time.
