About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To give back to humanity and save the environment. Preferably all in the same day

ABOUT ME

I'm a traveller who spends most of her time in one place. But always trying to rectify that! I currently work for a non-profit as an environmental educator where I teach kids about nature, and volunteer at a DIY bike repair space where I teach people about bikes.

I identify as a queer vegetarian environmentalist, and I would bike everywhere if I could. I care strongly about human rights, food security, environmental conservation, education, and community. I also love trees; this one's my favourite:

Moved around a lot in the past few years, but ended up back in Toronto. Though I must say, it doesn't take much for another place to feel like home to me.

PHILOSOPHY

Be the change you want to see in the world

Immerse your soul in love

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met a few amazing people through Couchsurfing, and love the personal nature CS brings to my travels

Interests

art, music, nature, hiking, biking, concert-going, sexuality, traveling, nostalgia, LOVE, food, gender, late-night revelations, BOARD GAMES

I have seen a bit of the world (see: some of Canada and the US, Central America and the Caribbean, a small piece of South America and now New Zealand). I can definitely say with confidence that I was bitten by the travel bug at a very young age and since then have been taking every opportunity I can to get out and see more

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My favourite experience ever was while volunteering at a non-profit sea turtle monitoring station in Costa Rica. Seeing a turtle, the size of a dinner table, scurry up the beach in the moonlight, digging with it's frisbee sized flippers and finally laying it's eggs in the sand was the most amazing and humbling thing I have ever seen. I want to go back.
