Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I like to show people around the not so common paths. They can relate to food, music and good ol hangouts. I participate in community development projects that span over social justice and community cohesion. The latest one is the USDAC, a people powered art initiative, and the other is a bike collective called Passaic Pedal.
I look into migrant issues, gender, and political economy etc.
It began in a Couchsurfer meeting in Rio de Janiero. Since then I've had the pleasure to host and help out travelers.
Riding bikes, anthropology, dancing, strolling through supermarkets, doing field work, picnics, cumbia sonidera, more dancing, photography, debating social theories.
