About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Behave badly. Well behaved women have never made history.

ABOUT ME

Giant- 6ft 2in.
Secular Humanist.
Vegan.

PHILOSOPHY

UBUNTU- "Humanity towards others" 'I am what I am because of who we all are'. This is extremely important because, basically, the idea is that in order to BE human, one must have one's 'humanness' reflected back at him/her. Its all about our interconnectedness with one another. We are all Earthlings regardless of political or geographical borders.

"For those who believe in God, most of the big questions are answered. But for those of us who can't readily accept the God formula, the big answers don't remain stone-written. We adjust to new conditions and discoveries. We are pliable. Love need not be a command nor faith a dictum. I am my own god. We are here to unlearn the teachings of the church, state, and our educational system. We are here to drink beer. We are here to kill war. We are here to laugh at the odds and live our lives so well that Death will tremble to take us." -Bukowski

Music, Movies, and Books

I love musicals and foreign films the most, but will watch practically anything that isn't horror.

Books: Toni Morrison, Zora Neal Hurston, and Octavia Butler are my favorite authors and 3 authors I model myself after.

Too much music to list, but we can talk about it. I will sit and listen to practically anything, to be honest. Top of my list includes: Anita Baker, Buika, Frank Ocean, Andra Day, Alejandro Sanz, Kem, Anthony Hamilton, Chrisette Michelle, Jazmine Sullivan, every bit of Motown, but that's not even the tip of the iceberg.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most awe inspiring thing I've ever done was hit "rock bottom". Twice! Its different for everyone but a true rock bottom completely alters you. If you're lucky enough to pull yourself out of the pit, you're forever grateful to have ever traveled there. I think Nietzsche was right when he said, "That which does not kill us, makes us stronger."

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to exchange languages and culture. I have an intense passion for anthropology. I like to share philosophies and existential wisdom but never to the point of dogmatism. I like to practice reducing my consumer needs and becoming a minimalist. I'm happiest when everything I own can pretty much fit on my back. I want to learn to be a more efficient gardener and composter and every single language I can fit into my brain.
