About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Viva la Victoria Siempre!

ABOUT ME

I grew up near 9 miles from a small rural town in southwestern Texas. 17 years of my life were spent there and then a new life began. College has been the best thing that has ever happened to me. It opened my eyes to a whole new world I only previously dreamed about. That is not to say that my parents secluded me though. My childhood was spent playing in the forest on my family's 1000 acre ranch and during the summers I lived with my grandparents in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. We were poor and we had to find ingenious ways to entertain ourselves.

My past has made me who I am today. Most of all I consider myself a dreamer. I have so many ideas I don't know what to do with myself. I am passionate about the environment, mother Earth, and my academics. I am not really political, I am open-minded to all, and I am straight forward. Some say I have a harsh sense of humor. I don't follow societal expectations and above all I love life.

PHILOSOPHY

As I said before I do not follow societal expectations. I live my life the way I choose to live it and I frankly don't care what anyone else thinks.

Music, Movies, and Books

Independent films. My favorite book is Albert Einstein - Ideas and Opinions. I also thoroughly enjoy repeatedly reading Thoreau, London, Tolstoy, Muir, etc... Music: Bob Dylan, Bob Marley, Grimy Styles, Wilco, Iron & Wine, Calexico, etc...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There are so many I don't know which one tops the list. I have been many places, seen many things, meet many people, but some of the most amazing things I have ever seen are in nature. Something as simple as a beautiful sunset or being so high on a mountain that you can actually see the curvature of the Earth. Those are the amazing things in life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have learned so much from meeting new people. There is no telling what we might learn from each other.
