My mission is to take life as it comes at me. There are many opportunities to do most certainly everything. I want to travel and meet personalities.

ABOUT ME

I heard of this website through a classmate. I had always been interested in traveling to experience freedom outside of school.

PHILOSOPHY

Life in general demands ever-widening interests. I go by this because I am constantly faced with the question, "Well what are you interested in?" or "What are you good at?" To me, I am interested in everything the world has to offer me. This can include capturing life through my camera to sharing my talents with good people. I most certainly can't put restrictions on my my life or I will never grow.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have two kinds of CouchSurfing experiences with people I have not met on this site. The better story of the two was staying with a regular at my work. He lived in Italy and was here on business. I was a waitress at the time and off my shift from work. He was sitting at the bar, so we got to talking. One thing lead to another and I was showing him around the area because he had no one in the area, let alone the state.

His stay in the States was up and we kept in contact online. I mentioned in previous conversations that I wanted to backpack in Europe. He suggested I let him know when I came to Italy, so he could show me around. As a result, I booked my ticket and he showed me around Milan, Rome, Florence, Venice and Como.

This was an unforgettable experience I don't think I could have done alone. But because of it, I am determined to travel by myself and meet as many people as I can!

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I am a everyones MP3 player. My music knowledge and taste is everything. I mostly listen to music based on my mood. If I am working, I will have one mellow song on repeat until I am done.

I am not much of a reader, but I am not one to pass down a good book.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

The greatest thing I have done in my lifetime was taken this year off from the professional working world to travel. I feel alive when I am experiencing a place that is foreign to me. I blame this feeling on growing up following most advice by the book, but I knew I wanted to start my freedom off right by traveling to my dream state of California.

I had told my Aunt about my desire to see California and she said I could stay with one of her friends that was currently living in Oceanside. I wanted some family company for my first week stay, so I had asked my sister if she wanted to take a week off to come with me. She happily agreed. At that time in my life, California confirmed every happiness about a place of living for me. So much that after my two week stay, I was applying out for every California design job I could find. I regret to say that I have not found a design job in California, but it was that trip that gave me direction and encouraged me to put myself out there.
