In March of 2016, I quit my job and moved out of my apartment to follow my heart and travel the world. I had worked as a nurse for 12 years, but I have been yearning to go on this adventure deep down inside for a while. I can't be happier with the decision I've made. I love meeting people and learning new things! There's no place I'd rather be than where I am right now.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I am starting my new adventure, it would be great to connect with people who can help me to appreciate new places in ways I would not otherwise know how as a foreigner.

Interests

I have a deep love for nature and the outdoors. Hiking is my soul therapy. I enjoy good beers. I love good movies. I enjoy talking to new people and learning about the unique experiences. I love simply walking around a new place and feeling the peace that comes that type of stroll. I also cycle and scuba dive. I would love to see what else can peak my interest.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2015, I summited the tallest peak in the continental United States- Mt. Whitney. It was the hardest things I've ever done but it was worth every moment. This year, in August, I will be backpacking the John Muir Trail.
