I've been a math and information technology teacher for the last 20 years - middle school, high school, and college. I'm amidst a career change, transitioning over to teaching yoga and starting a non-profit organization.

I'm starting my 4th season as a jammer skating for our regional roller derby team. My teammates are my tribe.

My sweet husband and I have been married for 14 years, and we have 7 kids, collectively, ages 6 to 35. And the oldest has blessed me with 4 granddaughters.

I'm new to Couchsurfing. I attend conferences often, and if time permits, would like to hang with locals.

Books - I read a lot. News, 12-step recovery, self-help, Koontz, Grisham, Blume, Hunger Games series, Harry Potter series.
