Overview
About Me
French in culture, African at heart, English in lifestyle.
Born and raised in France, I left my parents’ house at 17 essentially, to start my international education which took me to London, Brighton and Glasgow.
After that, travelled the world a bit, had some existential crisis, and finally, one day, ended up living in China. Talk about a change of scenery.
Right now, I live my life the freestyle-way although it’d be great at some point to get the job that’ll make me 200% happy (I don’t know what it is yet and hoping my trips will help me find it).
I’m an introvert but apparently, the fact I was able to go on solo trips and force myself to mingle with people makes me an ambivert. No clue. All I know is I like socializing but I also need my Me time.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because When in Rome, do as the Romans do (?) Is that the saying ?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Moved to China
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach : Funny enough I’m an English teacher in China.
Of all the languages, it had to be English.
I still amaze myself sometimes at how the universe does things for me.
Learn : I’m learning everyday about the world, cultures, ways of thinking, ethnicities, religions.
I’m also trying very hard to learn about myself, accept myself and grow as a person. Because damn this world will march on you, crush you and spit on you.
Share : the great thing about solo traveling is you meet new people who’ve always got a tip that turns out to be super valuable.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A bottle of wine.
But also a whole lot of stories about my journey in China. Because that’s the only remotely interesting bit of my last 2 years. Or is it... ?
