ABOUT ME

I just graduated from the University of New Mexico. I have traveled through Europe as a graduation present to myself. I am open minded, honest, and willing to do what I need to do.

PHILOSOPHY

Live by spiritual principles. Be responsible for myself. Make the world a better place to live by being kind to myself and others.
Appreciate all of it, the joys and the sorrows.
I live my life to the fullest. Appreciation and gratitude serve my spirit so I try to cultivate those qualities.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate by donating a few dollars, opening my home for travelers, and holding a vibration of safety and love for fellow human beings. I love being awake and totally present. I enjoy being in harmony with my surroundings. Going with the natural flow of life and doing my part.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I spent 5 days with a really nice host in Madrid. He showed us around and made us feel welcome.

In Birmingham England I met with Micheal who showed us around and took us dancing. It was wonderful.

In Hamburg Germany we stayed with an angel named Nina. She was the greatest couch-surfing host. She gave us the key to her place. So while we slept at other hosts' house, we got to spend time at Nina's during the day. The other host said we had to leave at 10 in the morning and come back at 10 at night. So it was really nice to have access to Nina's house during the day to relax in.

The strangest experience was in London, It was an ashram that said yes to me and my daughter. We arrived very late on a bus(2 in the morning) We called from a shady taxi place that wanted 25 pounds to take us,($50)
We made the mistake of calling him at the ashram, he said yes come. So we get there with our suitcases and he did not answer the door. There was a note on the doorbell saying it was wrong to call.

Very bad and unsafe part of London, middle of the night, no trains running. We had to pay another 25 pounds for a cab to an affordable hotel. I guess Buddhist have really strong boundaries and not a care in the world for other peoples safety or inconvenience.

兴趣

I play guitar. I like to take my kids to the zoo and amusement parks. I like to swim. I love to dance. I like to read books fiction and non-fiction. I like to watch movies that inspire and teach. I love to help people overcome whatever is in their way of being happy. I am interested in being totally as awake and present in every moment.

Music Nine Inch Nails, The Beat, Cindy Lauper, Dave Matthews band. Maroon 5, Led Zeppelin, Enya, Macy Gray, Alanis Moresette, Rolling stones, Devo, most everything except rap, but some is good.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I went all by myself into deep southern Mexico and retrieved my three children after 13 years of no contact. Only one lives with me now. Emily 14, and she does not speak English. I took two years of Spanish at UNM to prepare for the communication between us. Now I am taking her to Paris for her 15th Birthday. Yippy
