About Me

I left Germany almost three years ago.
Since then I've traveled south east Asia, lived in New Zealand for a while and now teach people freediving on an island in Indonesia. It could be worse. 😁

My two main sports are rock climbing and freediving (duh.). I don't think I want to live away from the ocean again. I did for the first 30 years of my life and I'm still recovering. 🤣

I'm on a path to become satisfied with how I live and see the world. Meeting other people and hearing their stories and perspectives helps broaden my horizon.

I love reading, watching good stuff, trying to create pictures and writing.

My secret dream is to rob a bank like in a movie, just to know how that feels.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

None, besides sleeping at a friends couch and meeting people from all walks of life to talk about the coming Singularity. ;-)

It is the best way to get to know people who know whats going on locally and can give the best tips for what to do and to see.

Interests

I love freediving and it changed my life in more ways than I could ever have imagined.
I am part gamer and part sports and outdoors guy. Can spend hours in front of a Console or outside, riding a bike, snowboard, longboard, kite, Surf board, you name it.

Uh, and boardgames. Yes, definitely like those!

I'm in love with photography and on a mission to become better so that at some point my pictures will create emotions. Right now it's more about me being there and taking the Photo.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I slept in a tree house in Laos that you can only reach with a zip line in the jungle 35 meters above ground.
I dive with sharks. Smol sharks. 🤣

My whole trip through SEAsia was a complete eye-opener regarding a lot of things. People are just so amazingly different all over the world and I love seeing "culture" in real life.

Teach, Learn, Share

Let's talk about the universe and stuff! ;-)

I'd love to learn some more about what people think how the Kosmos works and what is going to happen to humanity in the future.

I love being outdoors and seeing how far (or fast ;-)) I can go. Microadventures are totally a thing, you know? Just grabbing a few supplies and spend a day outside.

Or we could just hang out and game. I can spend hours with a Gamepad...

What I Can Share with Hosts

You have a slow computer, need help with technology, want to buy some new gadget?
Maybe I can help you or show you some options.

Also I bet you that I can teach you how to hold your breath for minimum two minutes in one day.
