I'm Stanley. I also go by “Stan,” “Stan the Man,” “Stan Tran,” and other equally amusing (not) rhyming explorations.

I currently divide my time between 1) managing web and native app products at a company with international offices (a big reason why I travel a lot), 2) freelance design, and 3) several hobbies, which vary seasonally—writing, pretending to be a big-shot food critic, and enjoying pretty much any sport while on the field/court or in a pub.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm relatively new to Couchsurfing, but not new to making friends abroad. I enjoy learning from others and making friendships I wouldn't make otherwise. I'm always interested in experiencing places through the eyes of locals.

I also like sharing stories about growing up and living in the San Francisco Bay Area, as well as my travels all over the world.
