About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Having a great Erasmus semester in Scotland!

ABOUT ME

I'm currently an Erasmus exchange Student in Aberdeen, and I'd like to take every opportunity I have to get in touch with Scottish people - I just love their dialect(s) and culture. And I'd really love to see as much of the country as possible beside my studies.
I'm not much of a partying person and definitely wouldn't disturb anyone - instead, I'd be more than willing to show my gratefulness to my hosts with preparing a delicious dinner for them. Or just having a nice little chat over a cup of tea?
Want to become: professional writer

PHILOSOPHY

If you can't change it, why not try to get the best out of it?
Smile at people and make your own day become a brighter one.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently, I'm in University provided residences but if somebody's willing to bring a sleeping bag and sleep on the floor, you're very welcome.
If my first experiences with CS here are fine, I'll surely provide accomodation in Salzburg and/or Graz as far as possible. And of course, I'll tell all of my friends about this unique and hopefully marvellous experience!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only been to my (Ex-)neighbour who emigrated to Amsterdam and it was wonderful, although I hardly knew him before. Far more fun than staying in a hostel. No other CS experience but loving to get some.

Interests

Creative writing, literature, music (mostly rock/indie, but also classical, country, pop, electro and open to everything), sports (just joined the boat team in aberdeen; soccer is an alltime favourite), board games, jigsaws, foooooood...

Music, Movies, and Books

Sin City, Indiana Jones, Star Wars, Disney Movies - not so much into Hollywood love films

Harry Potter, Fantasy, Agatha Christie, stuff I have to read for my literature courses (deeply impressed by Samuel Beckett)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

met my politics teacher from Salzburg at a hostel in Canterbury

Teach, Learn, Share

There are no kangaroos in Austria.
Everybody should own a sleeping bag.
Interrail or cycling/caravan tours are probably the best ways of getting to know a country. And try to get in touch with local people. Don't always do the tourist-kind of stuff.
If you wittness something that is going wrong - stand up and fight it. This one man in Munich had to die because he had the courage nobody else around him seemed to have. But don't wait for others to act - do it yourself or it might be too late!
