New country, new adventures, new people. New Couchsurfing-friends?
Next week my boyfriend and I will start our work-holiday-years in Canada and we have absolutely no idea where the journey will take us.

A little about ourselves:
CHRIS - Bearded Australian with mad bartending and cocktail-mixing skills, also pretty good at cooking. Likes Chilli, plays bass, rides motorbikes and enjoys adventure sports. Lived in Melbourne/Australia for pretty much all his youth, moved to New Zealand for a year with his family, back to OZ, then Germany and the UK.

ME (Lisa) - East-German Marketing executive (wannabe) who loves travelling, tea, sports and chocolate. Concerts are my favourite thing when I can afford them. Best so far: The almighty Bruce Springsteen!

We are pretty easy-going, really enjoy good conversation and appreciate a nice beer or wine. After travelling in Australia, we lived in London for three years and are now heading to Canada. We've each lived in flatshares pretty much the whole time.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

In 2011 I got introduced to couchsurfing while being in Australia for a work-travel. I only had amazing experiences and would like to get back into the community a bit more, that I have abandoned while being in London. I've crashed student partys, went dumpster diving, musicals and football matches - all with people I had met through CS.

I hope to find like-minded people while surfing or going to events all around Canada. Bring it on. :)

I love walking barefoot, lying in the grass, just because I felt like doing that, trying new things, learn from other people and meet friends. I love travelling, festivals (especially Woodstock in Poland) and I love living!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

The best things in life seem to happen while travelling. I jumped 10m from a cliff in New Zealand and I'm never gonna forget it, I met great people, saw stunning places, heard good music and learned new things.

Woodstock in Poland - am going to visit it for the fifth time next year. It's just the best!

At the moment, I'm hoping to find a host in Vancouver for a couple days. Since we will be coming from Australia, I can bring TimTams as bribe. ;)
