Hi I'm Sanghwa Woo from South Korea.
My catholic name is Dominicus.
You can call me Dominic or Dom easily.
I think the words which describe me is open-minded, outgoing, active, kind person. always with smile.

Always try to do my best.
Try to throw away all of prejudices and stereotypes.
Try to enjoy my life without regrets.

*The reason decided to travel around the world

Frankly speaking, I'm one of unusual cases in South Korea. Most of twentieth people from Korea has step by step life.
For example, graduating high school, going army for 2yrs, graduating university, finding their jobs, saving money to get married... blabla...

But l've been started thinking about my life at future. BTW.... what the fuckkk....
where's my life?......
It's my life. Not the others.
At least if we are adults, we have to lead my life.
But in Korea society, many people have stereotypes. Foe example, we must achieve to succeed until 30years old. (Ex. Buying big apartment, getting good car, saving a lot of money)
I think it's really awful and disgusting.
Also almost impossible...
I think we have to find what we want, what we love and experience, explore for the future life in twentieth life.

Nowadays, our lifespan is 100years old. maybe more than this.

That's why I'm decided to travel around the world. I wanna live in my twentieth life with things l really want. Also, l'm having time which check myself and look for real happiness in my life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As you know... l'm traveling around the world ,I wanna meet many local friends.
I think CS is one of best way to meet many of local friends. Also l like to experience local cultures and foods, learn history of each country.

Interests

Travelling, Taking beautiful photos, Learning other languages, Cooking, Watching Movies....Sports(football, walking, crossfit, trekking, climbing, cycling)

Cooking- l can make Korean, ltaly cuisines.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-Decide to travel around the world for 1YEAR.
-Earn money to trip for WHOLE YEAR.
-Go army for 2YEAR.
-Took a photo with Quokka(animal live only Western Australia, like big hamster.)
-Skydiving in Prague, Czech Republic.
-Traveling by Hitchhiking and Couchsurfing.
(I did hitchhiking approximately 5000km in my trip. in Asia, Europe, Africa, South America.lol)

Teach, Learn, Share

First of all, I can teach Korean cultures, K-pop, Korea language, History, Taekwondo.
l hope l can introduce about 'Korea' to people who don't know my country.
and I wanna learn your country's cultures and rules.
One more, if you like playing soccer, join me. When I was student, I was amateur soccer player. I like working out, playing basketball, trekking...
