ABOUT ME

I was born, raised and educated in California, USA. I have a Master's Degree in Education Administration and have been a professional/ academic person my whole life. I have recently decided that it's time I go out to experience, learn from, and enjoy the world and it's people /cultures. I'm currently travelling around New Zealand and Queensland Oz areas. I'm on a long term trip that has included Mexico and will include Thailand, Viet Nam, Cambodia and Europe/ Eastern Europe.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Am currently travelling and have stayed with a family in New Zealand for a few days. It was a good experience and I look forward to many more rewarding surfs. I will gladly host surfers whenever I settle down again after travelling for a year or two. I had luch with a host whose couch was already being surfed. I have enjoyed my couchsurfing encounters and think this is a fantastic way to know some really great people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I stayed with a very busy family in New Zealand for a couple of days. I overlapped with 2 other couchsurfers during this stay as well. Everyone was positive and happy and a pleasure to spend time with. Cooking dinner together as a group was great fun! Thanks for the memories guys!

Música, películas y libros

The last 2 books I read are: 'The Kite Runner' and 'A Thousand Splendid Suns'. Both were fantastic and compelling.

Swam with wild sea turtles in Mexico. They studied me as closely as I studied them! :)
