COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm new. A friend of mine found transportation to the Great Wall through CS, and we met a whole bunch of awesome people on the way. So I said "sweet," and signed up.

design, music (where can I find some good rock music in Shanghai?? Any suggestions??), architecture, homemade gifts, lots of food, warm weather and biking in it(not too fast though), tea and trying every single kind of it, making soup, chairs!, postcards, the jersey shore, keeping organized, mountains, hiking (apparantly), learning about all of our differences...

I just started reading a lot more since coming to China, and realized that I really enjoy it! A few books I've read recently: Water for Elephants, The Three Inch Golden Lotus, Outliers, Tuesdays with Morrie, The Fountainhead... and there will always be a place for Harry Potter =]

Music: My current obsessions are Anthony Green/Circa Survive, Chiodos, Coheed and Cambria. Of course the Beatles (Help and the White album are my favorites). Generally I prefer good old rock music, but I'm open to anything. I also played in the school bands all through school, so classical/big band/etc always has it's time too.
