About Me

CURRENT MISSION

getting back into routine...

ABOUT ME

I'm spontaneous, open-minded, reliable, sincere, faithful and interested in everything and everybody, that's unknown to me. I want to have great experiences and know all different kinds of places, people and cultures all over the world.

PHILOSOPHY

One can find pearls and beatiful things anywhere. You just have to be patient and look closely, then everything can be a miracle.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosted some, surfed some, met some. And CS helped me a lot during my travels!

Interests

Many things from reading, travelling, knowing foreign countries and cultures, languages.
Of course sports too: hiking in the mountains, cycling, inline skating and skiing in winter.

Music, Movies, and Books

Depends on my mood... But there's hardly anything, I don't like. But best to relax are Buena Vista Social Club or something jazzy in combination with a good Single Malt Scotch. I prefer electronic music for party.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

All the journeys that I've done. Granada, Edinburgh and Namibia are my favorite spots so far.
In April 2012 I participated in a university program called "National Model United Nations". We prepared for many months and improved our diplomatic skills in order to negotiate the interests of the Republic of Cuba at that conference at the United Nations at their headquarter in New York.
And, of course, there was the experience at World Youth Day 2005 in Cologne, where more than a million people from all over the world met.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you the basics of German language. Furthermore, I can show you the natural beauty of the Alps when we go hiking in the mountains. Although I don't have a big variety to taste, I can share my experiences regarding Scotch Whisky with you.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Austria, Czech Republic, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Paraguay, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, United Kingdom, United States, Uruguay, Vatican City State

Countries I’ve Lived In

Brazil, Germany, Namibia, Scotland
