ABOUT ME

I love to travel - it is my passion in life. I am a free spirit. I am very personable, friendly, and curious. I enjoy experiencing new things, seeing new places, and meeting new people. I live in Greensboro, NC with my Great Dane, Lilah, whom I love dearly. I love to learn, I enjoy exercise, sports, and the outdoors, and would rather do about anything other than sit and watch tv. There is too much of life to experience to waste on a couch, though it is nice to have a place to sleep!

PHILOSOPHY

I truly enjoy life. I do my best to be open-minded and avoid having unrealistic expectations. I like to help others, but also believe in personal responsibility. I value my freedom to pursue my dreams, and work hard to make the world a slightly better place than I found it. I think it is important to learn to think, but also know that my heart/gut is where I get life's true answers.

I love to read. I like mindless, shiny-cover thrillers as well as nonfiction and educational literature. I go to movies when I can, and enjoy comedies and dramas.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed Mount Kenya in 1998.
Was a deckhand on a large sailboat for 6 months, sailing from Canada to the Caribbean and visiting every island in the Lesser Antilles.
Sailed through the Bermuda Triangle.
Saw a lioness kill a wildebeest from less than 30 feet away.
Started a journey to get to know my true self.
