I live in Juneau, Alaska and love to travel the world. I travel with my boyfriend, we met in Alaska and both enjoy eating our way through different counties. We have traveled over 30 countries together and enjoy learning from new cultures, people and different ways of life.

i want to enjoy my life, live it to the fullest. i look at the way some live their lives and they always rushing, skimming through and not sitting back and holding on to the now. i want to make sure for the life i have i try to experience as much as i can...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i think that this is an amazing opportunity i feel that anyone can fly to a country see a few museums and eat at a fancy resturant with local flavors. but with couch surfing you emerge into the life of a local and that is what experiencing a counrty is. not just seeing whats already laid out for you, and with what i take from my travels i will always have an open door and empty couch for those who cross my path.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

so I had heard about this about a year ago when i was in South America but didnt have the opportunity to surf. Fast forward when i was on the train from milan to luzern and in an empty train car a girl was sitting right across from me. i laughed a bit and made a comment that i thought it was funny with an empty train car and they made our seat reservations right across from each other. from there we talked the three hours till we made it to luzern. she was staying with a member from cs and it was her first time, we met the next morning and she told me how great it was! they took us both to a blues festival that was goin on there and we made dinner together and watched movies...from then i realized that this is the way i want travel.

there are no boundaries for me with music, books and movies they are three of my favorite things. books i range from religious and philosophical to humor and mystery. I love music from all over the world and am open to pretty much anything.

I want to learn from everybody. there is always something to offer whether it be from culture, art or family. We feed off each other I want to talk about my travels, food, experience. Even though this is such a big world our small interactions with one another is what builds our society.
