ABOUT ME

I joined couch surfing many moons ago, but had to go on hiatus a while. I am back looking for a more personal and deeper experience when I travel to a new country. I started traveling a decade ago, and miss it!! I feel very lucky to have all the great opportunities I've had to travel and live abroad, as well as experience the cultures of the places I've seen and through the people I've met. Many of the backpackers that I have met on the road spoke very highly of couchsurfing as I think it is time to give back.

PHILOSOPHY

Where to start... I am an observer. I try to learn about a countries history and culture by meeting people and watching how people interact. The world is a beautiful place filled with incredible and fascinating people, if you just give it a chance. I believe travel offers the opportunity to melt away ignorance and make you a wiser person if you have an open heart. I know that I have been shaped by my travels and I would not trade it for anything. I am still looking for ways to give back to the world constructively.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I am looking to couch surf and meet new people. :) Some of my early experiences were not as good as I expected then to be, but I want to give it another chance. I now live in a place where I can host people and I am looking to try it :)

兴趣

My biggest hobby is photography. What I have learned about photography I have learned through fellow travelers. I love to create art through various mediums. I keep a blog about my travel experiences that I rarely update. I listen to a lot of different types of
music and I love to exchanging music and listen to new artists and bands. The more I travel, the more of a bookworm I have become to pass the time.

Traveled and met some beautiful, amazing and very generous people along the way.

Swimming in Halong Bay, Vietna in the middle of the night to discover that you will glow in the water. Lying on top of a broken tower in a forest in Limerick, Ireland with a close Irish friend staring at the stars.

I like to learn about everything from astrophysics to milking a cow. Everything fascinates me. I am a political science nerd at heart and love to learn more about world politics.

I want to learn skills so that I can share them with others.

I am happy to cook and share food. I can share photography tips, and teach you how to ski ( I used to teach). I am always happy to share travel tips and give recommendations!!
