ABOUT ME

I love meeting new people and seeing new things. I am in awe of how huge the world really is and I can't wait to see as much of it as possible! I really like boats and the water as well as mountains and cities. While I do party occationally, I'd much rather have a good conversation with someone over a coffee or see breath-taking sites.

I'm a university student currently studying in Finland for the semester. I am majoring in Biochemistry and hope to one day go into medical research.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surfed when I was traveling in Europe. Now I am home and would love to host some surfers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had my first couchsurfing experience with Anju in Tampere, Finland. It was so wonderful! She was an amazing host.

I surfed with Diego in Madrid and he was so helpful in showing us around the city. He was a very generous host and I had a great experience.

I surfed with Constance in Barcelona and again had a wonderful experience. I wish I had planned to stay in Barcelona longer.

- The Northern Lights

- Camped in upstate New York and the upper peninsula of Michigan

- Spent some time in a tiny village in Mexico helping on a construction project at a local church

- Moscow and St. Petersburg -> both were incredible

- Took a ferry from Finland to Sweden

- Performed at various bluegrass festivals in the eastern part of the US

- Went to the top of Mt. Vesuvius

- Saw the ruins of ancient Pompeii

- Saw the Sagrada Familia as well as Park Gruell, Casa Mila, and Casa Batllo

- Visited the Island of Santorini

- Rome: enough said

I am willing to share anything I can with someone new. I know some basics on various musical instruments (guitar, piano, saxaphone, clarinet...)and I really like to sing.
