ABOUT ME

I was born in Nairobi, Kenya, where I was raised until I was 8. After that, the government sent me to London to live, and now I work there just long enough to make money, in order to come back over to the United States. I used to have a dream when I was little and living in Africa about living in America when their were cowboys. Maybe it was a passed life? All I know is I have to be here as much as I can.

PHILOSOPHY

Be a good, decent, loyal and honest person. Treat people well, and be kind and helpful.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I share what my life has been like. I tell them about how I lived and what life was like as a child in Africa and then as a teen in England. I have been around Germany and France, I like to explain to people the best places to stay in the places I have been.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

One time I went to just stay for a few days with a friend's mother who was almost 80, on my way back to New York. While I was there, her husband passed away and I ended up staying and helping her out for a couple of months. She was a fun lady to know, and she had travelled for lots of years and we talked a lot all the time. She taught me a lot of things, and I still talk to her sometimes.

I think it was nice for her because she had someone there with her, and she was so nice and kind to me, I am about the same age as her grandchildren, and she treated me like one of the family.

I like old American muscle cars, ghost town hunting, museums, movies and lots of other things.

My favorite movies are The Titanic and Fiddler on the Roof. Their is just something about them that really makes me feel something special. Mostly tho I am a guy, and I like scary or action movies. Usually I try to escape when someone puts on a chick flick but I have to admit there are some good ones out their.

I like all types of music, mostly older rock like Guns n roses and Metallica. yeah, I grew up in the 1980s.

I don't read a lot of books, never got in the habit unless their is something I want to learn then I can read it in a hurry!

I was in NYC on 9-11-01. The most amazing thing is how Americans pull together. I don't ever want to live through that again, and I don't like to talk about it. But what I lived through was amazing.
