ABOUT ME

I would describe myself as personable, adventurous, and outgoing who loves to travel and meet people from all over the world. My passion is to travel and discover new places and new people. I'm a huge lover of history, particularly ancient Roman history, and try to visit as many of the ancient sites as I can. I'm currently working on a masters in archaeology at Cardiff uni and hope to live somewhere in Europe after I graduate. The goal right now is to see as much as I can while I'm still this side of the pond!

I try to be an active part of the couch surfing community by sharing the couch surfing ideal and keeping it alive in other travelers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couch-surfed on my backpack through Italy, and so far all of my hosts were incredible and I would not have seen/learned the amazing things I did without it.

Interests

The things I love the most are traveling, trying new things, and outdoorsy stuff like hiking, rock climbing, biking, and riding motorcycles. If I could only do one thing with the rest of my life it would definitely be travel, the problem is always money!

Music, Movies, and Books

Braveheart is my all time favorite movie, I love the Scottish history and the movie is so well done (although it's a bit inaccurate in it's details).

Other top films are Forrest Gump, The Great Escape, Beverly Hills Cop, Inglorious Bastards, Lord of the Rings, Shawshank Redemption, V for Vendetta, Back to the Future, and so many more! I really enjoy a wide range of movies

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My first visit to Rome and seeing the ancient Roman ruins. I've been reading and dreaming out ancient Rome since I was young so to see them in the flesh was grand.

Archaeological dig in Macedonia. Beauty and history of the country was inspiring.
