ABOUT ME

I'm a traveller. A new journey begins each morning as I realize that I'm awake, trying to get the feeling of where the coming day is going to bring me. Will I be able to climb the breath-taking hills of unconditional happiness? Or will I (again) do my sleepwalking along the beaten paths of mediocrity?

PHILOSOPHY

* I strongly believe in the ultimate happiness, which implies freedom from any traces of negativity.

* A heavy weight on my heart is the matter of personal sincerity. In the hypocrisy-based society (fake smiles, politeness hiding disgust, politics, business, etc etc) I don't have guts to follow my "personal legend" (© Coelho), yet being unable to accept the common rules. That's why meeting a sincere, daring and even apparently "rough" person is always a magical discovery. Yet, I don't buy aggression (read: "intention to make another suffer") offered as "self-confidence" and "independence".

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Took part in CS Collective Europe 2006. "Spreading the word", when I feel that someone would benefit from CS (and vice versa).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted in the Netherlands, Spain and Ukraine, surfed in several European countries, as well as in Russia, North and South America.
