I am Johannes. I just finished studying Business Informatics in Mannheim. Right now I am on a 10 week visit in the United States for my new company. I want to use the weekends to get to know different places and to meet new people.
I already have a bachelors degree in Politics and Law but I wanted to learn something new so I started this new studies. I am very open and relaxed person. I am easy go get along with. I like to be very active and do a lot of stuff.

Interests

I love cooking alone or with friends.
I like to play boardgames with others. I also like to spend some quality social time with others and talk. I am very interested in meeting new people and in sharing new points of views. Going to concerts is always fun for me. Since the beginning of the year I am doing a lot of physical activities. So I started doing yoga and bouldering once a week. I also like to travel if time permits.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to a lot of different genres. I am a big fan of electronic and hip-hop music. But I like all kinds of different stuff. For example Beirut, Charity Children, Acid Pauli, Ratatat, Ceschi, Agnes Obel, Kings of Convenience, Action Bronson, Chinese Man and so much more...

I also like to watch a lot of different movies. Some of my favorites are: Mary and Max, Fight Club, Snatch, Despicable Me, Shawn the sheep, City of God and Soul Kitchen.

Some of my favorite books are: The Diskworld Series by Terry Pratchett, The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay, The Long Earth series, Anathem, The Fault in Our Stars

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have traveled the Balkans with a mobile home for four weeks.

I did an internship on the Philippines for eight weeks which was a nice adventure.

Also I spend a summer hitchhiking through Spain which was a lot of fun.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a good cook and can show you how to cook some good German food or other food. I can teach you some games that you can play with other people. Also I can teach you how to juggle.

I am always interested in learning about new topics and new skills.

I really like sharing experiences and stories with other people.
