I love to learn. I'm adventurous and ambitious. I'm independent. I'm a little confused.

Other than that, I'm taking a gap year trying to figure everything else out. I don't want to waste time or money on something I am not passionate about and will not take full advantage of.

Interests

Travel - anywhere, anyhow.
Outdoors - skiing, hiking, camping, canoeing, rafting, and anything new I can try.
Reading - everything from Jane Austen to Edith Wharton to Nabokov to Jennifer Crusie.
Sports - former field hockey, lacrosse, ice hockey, and soccer player.
School/education - I've never disliked a class, but I'm particularly interested in art history, physics, engineering, economics, and Arabic culture/history/language.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Proudest moment/experience (not quite the question asked): completing a 20 mile hike - over Gunsight and Lincoln Passes in Glacier National Park - in one day. The most breathtaking scenery of steep mountain faces plummeting to meet crystal clear, serene lakes and delicious blueberries to munch. So sore, so tired, but so much fun and great memories.

Teach, Learn, Share

One of my passions is cooking and baking and I love getting to know people in the kitchen. I think it is a great atmosphere for conversation and wonderful way to exchange a little bit of personal history and local culture.
