VERY IMPORTAND, PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE SENDING A REQUEST:
I am NOT living in Amsterdam, but in Hilversum.
It is a 20 minute Trainride (one way) and 5,70 EUR per person, per one way/so 11,40EUR per round trip. (possibly 1 EUR extra for the ticket itself) If you only want to see Amsterdam, I will not be the host you are looking for. When you like a more local village, this could be a great spot for you!
I have a big couch to sleep on which fit 2 people. But I do not have a extra mattrass or bed sheets. Please bring your own airmattrass to put on the floor and your own sheets in case you dont like a couch.
I have 1 sleepingbag available for use.
Sometimes you need to share the livingroom with other CS'ers.
*For the tall people between you (longer than 1.75cm), my roof has some parts which are not extremly high, so on some places you might bump your head ;-)*
If you dont mind these things, you are welcome to send me a request!! To proof that you read this above, please start your request with: I want to stay in Hilversum. :-)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am a active CS'er since (15 jan 2012). I surfed quiet a lot during my travels. Now I'm back in Holland and the time has come to host!
I did not host that many people yet, but as I have been surfing I want to give others the same kind of experience as I had!
Also of course, when infected with he ''travel bug'' I will still go to different places and check for people in the local area to stay with and have an greater experience of the trips.
There is a fun museum for music and television which is loads of fun to go to. A lot of nature and a very cute city to shop!
To start couchsurfing was a big experience, and till now i LOVE it! Its great to meet so many people in short time and everybody is helping out! Just really Amazing.
Its better than hostel or guesthouse or hotel or whatever, locals know best!!
Have been surfing around in China, Thailand, Indonesia ,Australia, New Zealand and USA.
Its great to do active things and and always looking for new adventures! Always like to meet a lot of people and enjoy the moments that as much as i can.
Anyway I am willing to try a lot of crazy things! (to do and to eat). So if you got anything special... let me try! haha
I did a Vipassana Mediation course from 6feb 13- 17 feb 2013 in Tasmania Autstralia, and again May 6th until 17th 2015 in Swiss. and also this gave me a new interest in my life.
I worked a lot abroad and even on a Cruiseship!
- scuba diving
- rock climbing
Music, Movies, and Books
With music I like regeaton and Pop the most, but sometimes its nice to hear Trance and Rock. So it means I like almost all kinds of music. My favorite singer is Sarah Connor, and dutch singers Nick & Simon.I love to watch movies, especially teenage movies. Sometimes adventure, comedy, horror and of course romantic movies. If there is something i prefer not to do is it to read books! Only cartoon books (Donald Duck) or some romans is okay to read. And to be honest these days I started reading a lot more psychology books, which are very very very interesting.
