My name is Travis. I am currently residing in beautiful Minneapolis, Minnesota. I've had the travel bug in the past, but life circumstances have led me to remain at home, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've heard from multiple people around the world that they had originally dismissed Minneapolis as simply "fly over country" in the United States. And yet, pretty much anybody who had spent time here has said that Minneapolis is one of the coolest cities they've ever been to.

While I can't travel and couchsurf at this time of my life...I want to show people from all over the world why I feel proud to live in Minneapolis.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent a week in Istanbul, which was the coolest city I've ever been to. I even stayed at a CouchSurfer's home. He cooked local dishes and shared locals places that I would've never found on my own.

While being unable to travel myself...I want to show people that Minneapolis is a city worth visiting....Not just as a lay over, but as a vibrant destination.
