About Me

I'm an actor, playwright, poet, massage therapist, video game developer musician living in Montreal. I'm stubbornly indie, and refuse to get "jobs" that I don't like. So I find my own work.

I'm tall, gentle, understanding, and humble. But I can also be annoying by challenging your ideas about the world, and making bad puns.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love traveling, but I just don't do enough of it. I want to go all over the world and meet new people, talk with them about life, art, philosophy, religion, science, passion, love, and anything else. I am always learning. Drifting around, alone, is a way of learning I want to try, and so here I am.

Interests

Debating semantics, comparative mythology, drama, good books, photography, basking in nature's glory…. I could put a lot of things here.

Music, Movies, and Books

This is an interesting question, as I am at a point in my life where I see / read media in a different light as before I was 26. I don't know what from my childhood / early adulthood I would still like if I revisit them. Right now, I am into Joseph Campbell, Barbara Walker, Robertson Davies. I just watched The Witch, which was pretty damn good.

I don't know. Star Wars & Terry Pratchett.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once directed a stage adaptation of Fern Gully in an elementary school. All the students from grades 1 - 6 were involved in different capacities. I dealt mostly with grades 4-6 who were my actors. The show went off great. It still feels like a dream….

Teach, Learn, Share

Yes, please! I dabble in linguistics, poetry, philosophy, music, acting, massage, yoga, meditation, spirituality, mathematics…. I would love to share my knowledge. Just ask me anything!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to cook! I am quite good at taking whatever there is in the house and making something delicious with it. Host me and I'll cook you a wonderful dinner, play you a song on my guitar, read you some poetry, heck, I'll even write you one.
