About Me

Been travelling the world for the last 7 years. I've met a lot of people and just got back stateside last August. I'm new to couchsurfing and it sounds like a pretty good opportunity to expand socially. It's always nice to get some new drinking buddies as well. I'm laid back and rarely upset about anything. Seeing all walks of life has really impacted me; I want to help everyone that I can and try to make the world a better place even if for a second.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to meet new folks. Sharing stories, networking, and having a blast is what I'm looking for.

Interests

Some highlights: music, art, food, unfamiliar cultures, unfamiliar traditions, underground parties, having intellectual conversations with strangers, humanity, laughing, cutting loose

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy all genre's of music. I'll give anything a chance out of mutual respect for the person that enjoys it. My favorite movie is Vanilla Sky and unfortunately I don't read very often. Maybe some day I'll crack open a book.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Most recently one thing that struck me as odd was that I had traveled the entire Earth by flight out of Chicago. It was strange to me because I realized that not too long ago it would have taken sailors months to do that. I had done it in the course of a week just by flying. Advancement in skills and tech makes the impossible attainable and with considerably less time.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm willing to learn anything. I would like to learn some new recipes though. I can teach folks about carpentry, the local brews, and if they're so inclined about my job. Things to share, I suppose, would be experiences, food, and my home.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Home, food, personality, anything really.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, China, France, Georgia, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Mexico, Russian Federation, Scotland, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Wales

Countries I’ve Lived In

England, Kyrgyzstan, United States
