Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've couchsurfed in Switzerland and Germany before, and those experiences were absolutely wonderful. I made new friends and experienced the cities in a way I would not have had I stayed in a hotel or hostel. I'm hoping that I can have a similar experience traveling in the US.

Music: classical (especially chamber music, opera, and contemporary classical), pop, post-rock, really anything

Books: mostly non-fiction, essays on music

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Two of the most amazing feats of nature I've seen are the Swiss Alps and the Grand Canyon. They're both so incredibly awe-inspiring. I still can't fully put into words how breathtaking either of those experiences were for me.

What I Can Share with Hosts

One of my favorite things is sitting around with people and taking turns putting on music we enjoy listening to. I've found so much music I would never have heard by doing this, so if that's something you enjoy, we could do that and share some wine.
