About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To explore the world as much as I can while I still can!

ABOUT ME

I like to go out and explore new things. I am only here for a short time so I am more inclined to do things that may otherwise scare me or weird me out. I am a 20 year old American who is learning Spanish by living with a host family in Spain. I like to have a good time, but still do my best to be responsible. I often plan things out, but don't mind the occasional spontaneity. I've been in a long distance relationship with the best girl in the world for about 2.5 years now who is waiting for me in Oklahoma.

PHILOSOPHY

I want to see the world, because I think there is more to life than just working a job and raising a family. Don't get me wrong, those are essential in my plan for my life, but I want to do me first, and go out and experience things that I love and can only experience in this window of my life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I tend to try to do things with other people I know, but I am now willing to go out and travel to new places on my own.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have absolutely no experience with Couchsurfing, so I hope it works out well.

Interests

I love sports. I have played baseball for most of my life, along with American football and basketball for a few years. I have my foot in the door of extreme sports because I love to scuba dive. I would like to go sky diving some time in my life though!

Music, Movies, and Books

Not much of a book worm, but if I find the right one (Hunger Games), I can get caught up in it. Love the movies as well. I am a big war nut too. Love Saving Private Ryan and Pearl Harbor. But my girlfriend would be proud, I do like the Notebook, Dear John, and The Vow too. As far as music, if its good, I'll listen to it. Indie music isn't good.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

An amazing thing I have done is got certified to scuba dive. The ocean is such a beautiful place. It is like a new world under the water. There is so much that people miss out on by not exploring the oceans. I would love to be able to dive in countries around the world if I could.

Teach, Learn, Share

My culture is not quite like the typical American culture. I am from New Mexico, which, as you can assume, is influenced by the Mexican culture. I love love love green chile and any Mexican dishes. If ever there is a time to go to New Mexico, it's early October the the Annual Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta. Hundreds of hot air balloons, thousands of people from all over the world, and some of the best New Mexican food you will ever have!

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Costa Rica, Italy

Countries I’ve Lived In
