I'm a doctoral student and instructor at Indiana University, in anthropology and religious studies. I'm married with two children.

Interests

Besides research and teaching, I enjoy painting, writing, camping, hiking, cycling, tennis, and roadtripping. I love international travel, but haven't been able to do too much of it yet. I've been to 32 out of 50 states.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Becoming a dad for the first time. A three-week camping roadtrip through Midwest and Mountain states with my family was a pretty memorable experience. An HIV/AIDS research trip to South Africa.
