About Me

ABOUT ME

Most recently I've lived between the mountains of California and the Valleys of Idaho, but I was raised in New York state. I write a lot, music and words and books and poems and things of that nature, and I talk a lot too. I've been traveling on a solo mission since October, when I worked a river trip in Bhutan, which was lovely! And since then I've kept on going. I'm pretty interested in Community Health and am applying to Master's of Public Health programs. Mostly I am interested in social inequality and how it affects the health of people and their nations. I like to play guitar and sing and rock climb and go to farmers markets and eat fruits and vegetables and other things too, and swim for sport though I don't float that well without a lifejacket, and I like to ride bikes and walk everywhere, rare to take a taxi, though I like trains and busses, planes not so much. I like figs a lot they might be my favorite fruit, and I like really good chocolate (but I also like bad chocolate), and I like eating giant carrots.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet people who live all over the world and hear about their experiences traveling, I feel like everyone I meet gives me a reason to visit a new place or try something new or just teaches me something I hadn't thought about in quite that way before.
