i'm a fixer. give me a paperclip and i'll jerry-rig your sunglasses. give me a string of paperclips and i'll fix your toilet. wonder how many paperclips it'll take me to fix the world

on this motorcycle trip out west, we found this fabled natural hot springs, trekking all up in the mountains in the dark and hearing elves and tripping on tree roots and by some magical luck stumbling upon it

a few years ago some folk had built it up into their utopia-commune type thing but then the locals got drunk and redneck-y and tore it up, so it was abandoned and ghosttown and really quite dashed dreams

but a few tubs were still holding. so we swam naked in the moonlight and drank rum from a metal bowl and it felt pretty damn complete
